FUND DESCRIPTION: DWS RREEF Real Estate Fund II Inc., formerly Scudder RREEF Real Estate Fund II Inc, is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Fund's investment objective is total return through a combination of high current income and capital appreciation potential by investing primarily in real estate securities. FUND STRATEGY: Under normal market conditions, the Fund will invest at
least 90% of its total assets in income-producing common stocks, preferred stocks and other equity securities issued by real estate companies, such as "real estate investment trusts" ("REITs"), and direct interests in real estate. At least 70% of the Fund's total assets will be invested in income-producing equity securities issued by REITs. The Fund may invest up to 10% of its total assets in debt securities issued or guaranteed by real estate companies. The Fund will not invest more than 20% of its total assets in preferred stock or debt securities rated below investment grade (commonly known as "junk bonds") or unrated securities of comparable quality. Although the Fund will invest primarily in equity securities that are publicly traded, the Fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in illiquid real estate investments. FUND MANAGEMENT: The Fund's investment manager is Deutsche Asset Management, Inc. and the Fund's investment advisor is its affiliate RREEF America L.L.C. The investment manager is part of the United States asset management activities of Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE: DB).

Notes: March 29, 2010 -- DWS RREEF Real Estate Fund, Inc. (NYSE AMEX:SRQ) and DWS RREEF Real Estate Fund II, Inc. (NYSE AMEX:SRO) today each announced that the “Cessation Date” for its planned liquidation is expected to occur on or about June 11, 2010. As provided in each Fund’s Plan of Liquidation and Dissolution, at the close of business on the Cessation Date, each Fund will cease its business as an investment company, except for the purpose of liquidating and winding up its affairs, and the books of each Fund will be closed and the further transfer of the Funds’ common stock on NYSE Amex will cease (except for the settlement of prior transactions). Each Fund will seek to reduce all of its holdings to cash and make a final liquidating distribution to holders of its common stock on or about June 18, 2010. In the event that illiquid securities remain in a Fund’s portfolio, such Fund may elect to make one or more additional distributions pursuant to its Plan of Liquidation and Dissolution.
