FUND DESCRIPTION: Deutsche Multi-Market Income Trust, formerly DWS Multi-Market Income Trust, formerly Scudder Multi-Market Income Trust, formerly Kemper Multi-Market Income Trust, is an exchange-traded closed-end fund (CEF) or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Deutsche Multi-Market Income Trust seeks to provide high current income consistent with prudent total return asset management. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing its assets in a broad range of income producing securities, such as U.S. corporate fixed income securities and debt obligations of foreign governments and their agencies and instrumentalities, either of which may be denominated in foreign currencies, debt obligations of the U.S. Government and its agencies and instrumentalities and other income producing securities, including securities which may be denominated in foreign currencies, and of which securities may or may not be rated. FUND MANAGEMENT: Deutsche Investment Management Americas, Inc. serves as the investment manager to the Fund.

Notes: November 16, 2018 -- Deutsche Multi-Market Income Trust (formerly traded on the NYSE under the symbol “KMM”) and Deutsche Strategic Income Trust (formerly traded on the NYSE under the symbol “KST”) announced today the payment of their final liquidating distributions to shareholders of $9.039 per share for KMM and $12.629 per share for KST. Liquidation proceeds are expected to be disbursed on Monday, November 19, 2018. The liquidating distributions are being made pursuant to the Funds’ Plans of Liquidation, as announced on July 11, 2018. The liquidating distributions represent all of the Funds’ remaining net assets except for amounts set aside for reasonably ascertainable liabilities and obligations of the Funds.
