FUND DESCRIPTION: The Central Europe, Russia and Turkey Fund, Inc., formerly the The Central Europe and Russia Fund, Inc., is an exchange-traded closed-end Fund or a closed-end ETF which is officially described as a non-diversified, closed-end investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Central Europe, Russia and Turkey Fund, Inc. seeks long-term capital appreciation primarily through investment in equity or equity-linked securities of issuers domiciled in Central Europe and Russia. The Fund is non-diversified and can take larger positions in fewer issues, increasing its potential risk. Investing in foreign securities, particularly those of emerging markets, presents certain risks, such as currency fluctuations, political and economic changes, and market risks. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund invests in sectors, such as energy, financials, materials, telecommunication services, industrials, consumer staples, information technology, utilities and consumer discretionary. FUND MANAGEMENT: Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc. is the Fund's manager and Deutsche Asset Management International GmbH is the Fund's investment adviser.
